Emerging Minds Emerging Minds has been dedicated to the mental health and emotional wellbeing of Australian infants, children, and families for over 20 years. Whether you’re a practitioner, parent, family member, or organisation, they can provide mental health information and approaches for infants, children, and families.

Child aware practice A course developed by Emerging Minds to enhance understanding about the impact of adult problems, including mental illness, AOD and family violence, on children and to support practitioners to think about children early in any contact with a parent. It ensures that families are supported to make and sustain changes so that they can better meet the needs of their children. It is interactive and features high-quality video scenarios that are partnered with a useful workbook. The workbook contains exercises, discussion starters and reflective questions that can be used in individual and group learning.

Supervision for children's wellbeing This course will provide supervisors with a framework for working with practitioners to improve engagement with children and families while helping to support meaningful change in their lives. This includes supervision with practitioners in adult-focused service delivery and those working with children and their families.
